I know for a fact that I am not your typical 17 year old. My parents would have NEVER let me have my car if I were, I consider myself to be very responsible and I dare to say I am quite mature for my age. I know for a fact that if I had my TTZ as my first car, I would probably be dead right now. I realize your son may have some driving experience, but do yourself a favor and make sure you TRUST him completely. even in my NA Automatic I spun it out and went up over a curb, god was on my side that day and nothing happened, however after that day my driving habits have matured 10 fold. Please do yourself a favor, and THINK about what you are doing, then if you still want him to have it...go for it. My parents said I couldnt have a TT until I was out of the house, however after 6 months of my NA, and spending time with the local Zers, my parents trusted me with a TT. Now, 8 months later I still have my TTZ. Thats a 17 year olds true opinion.
